Narrow fit for better fixation

To start with, the new rubber boots offer what's called the Sneaker fit, or as we call it, a sneaker-style fit.

This is expressed by a narrower opening around the instep area. Of course, this fit might not suit everyone. People who are used to the classic straight fit might find these boots a bit tight. Purofort as the reason for unique properties

The rubber boots, as the name suggests, are made from specially treated rubber. The Purofort material is patented by Dunlop and was invented in the 1980s. Since then, Purofort has been continuously improved and is very hard to match by the competition. What makes this material so unique?

• Resistance down to -20°C and -50°C - The fact that these rubber boots withstand such cold temperatures is the result of the mentioned Purofort material. The material contains millions of small air bubbles, called pores, that provide excellent insulation against the cold. The rubber boots have no lining or additional insulation, making them suitable for year-round use. The reviewed Thermo+ version withstands temperatures down to -50°C, and the robust sole further supports this, in addition to the material itself.
• Mechanically resistant material - Most rubber boots made from Purofort also have anti-perforation properties, as the material is very mechanically resistant. It can withstand rough handling and even small cuts.
• Ultra-light material - Even though the rubber boots appear very robust, they are actually quite light. Just like other Purofort rubber boots, this material is not only durable and well-insulated, but also light.

Unmistakable sole

The sole of these gum boots is truly distinctive. Since they are gum boots in the highest safety class, they also feature a sole with a deep tread pattern. The sole not only has a high-quality profile but also, thanks to the CI standard, an insulating intermediate layer to prevent cold from the ground. The orange variant even has a strikingly contrasting blue sole, while the green variant features the classic black sole.
