Panda utilizes several types of soles, and we will introduce them one by one. Before that, let us provide a brief guide on how to interpret the sole schematics. Alongside an actual photo of the sole, you can also see its schematic with active points. These points are color-coded for better clarity. What do the different colors represent?

Traction = grip
Stability = stability
Grip = adhesion
Braking = braking, anti-slip
Self-cleaning -> = self-cleaning areas
Ladder grip = ladder grip, standing on a ladder
Energy absorption coefficient in the heel area = energy absorption coefficient in the heel area, with a minimum value of 20, displayed in a yellow frame next to the achieved value for the specific sole.

MICROLIGHT SOLE

The new blend for the polyurethane foam midsole and compact polyurethane outsole originates from the PANDA SAFETY R&D Team. This innovation results in a sole that stands out for its lightness, flexibility, and elasticity while meeting stringent chemical, physical, and mechanical requirements of European standards.

MICROLIGHT soles provide exceptional stability and wear resistance, redefining standards in the safety and work footwear industry.

PU COMB SOLE

The PU COMB sole, made entirely of polyurethane foam, is a masterpiece of lightness, flexibility, and comfort. Its tread, resistant to oils and fats, features a honeycomb design that provides a "suction-cup" grip, ensuring excellent anti-slip resistance even on the most treacherous surfaces. Additionally, it includes a self-cleaning feature.

LX SOLE

The LX sole, boasting antistatic and anti-torsion features, stands out with its design, specifically developed to provide unmatched slip resistance. The midsole made of polyurethane foam supports the foot and provides lasting comfort throughout the day. The outsole, made of thermo-polyurethane, offers excellent thermal insulation and grip while incorporating a self-cleaning function that enhances stability.

The shock-absorbing insert placed in the heel area effectively dampens impacts and vibrations, ensuring that every step is safe and comfortable.

HEAT SHIELD

The HEATSHIELD tread, made of nitrile rubber, provides excellent slip resistance even on the most uneven terrains and withstands contact with surfaces heated up to 300°C for up to one minute. When paired with outsoles made of polyurethane and/or thermo-polyurethane treads, it offers increased resistance to tearing and chemicals. The midsole made of expanded polyurethane leverages the natural properties of the material to ensure flexibility and effective shock absorption.

This design choice ensures consistent comfort and a feeling of lightness throughout the entire workday.
